While the trailer for the new comedy What to Expect When You're Expecting reveals plenty of funny moments, Jennifer Lopez recently revealed that the movie also carries a more serious message about why many parents decide to adopt in addition to having biological children.

A big part of the film's adoption message has to do with the twin boys of  Kindred and Meredith Howard of Atlanta, who adopted Samuel and Asher as babies in Ethiopia despite their various health issues. The mother died giving birth and their father gave the boys up to an orphanage because he didn't have the basic resources to keep them alive.
