"I was so happy that Amber won. I predicted that she would win and she did, and boy, she deserved it," said Henderson, who appeared on Season 11 of the celebrity dancing competition show in 2010.
"...It was a very exciting season. Having been on 'Dancing with the Stars,' I can tell you it is not for sissies, and I just think she was amazing."
Henderson was at Universal Studios Hollywood last week as she was honored with the Who-manitarian of the Year Award at the launch of this year's Grinchmas. She was granted the award for her charitable work for the City of Hope research and treatment hospital.
"I wanted to thank 'Who-niversal' for choosing me to receive this award. I'm so grateful, especially at this time of year, when it really is about giving and letting your heart grow a little bit larger like the Grinch," the veteran actress said of the award.
Grinchmas continues at Universal Studios Hollywood on weekends through December 15 and daily from December 20 through December 31.
