During an appearance on The Late Late Show Wednesday, Saldana got candid about what her experience has been like being pregnant with twin boys -- and what she thinks is "the best thing a pregnant woman can hear."
"The best thing a pregnant woman can hear is the word 'sexy,'” the 36-year-old told host Craig Ferguson. "It's like, 'Oh, you think I'm sexy? Yes! I'm sexy.' You know?"
Though she admits, "Usually I'm sort of like such an activist and women's rights. I'm like, 'Excuse me, do not objectify me!' or whatever, but now that I'm pregnant, I'm kind of itching for like, sexy comments, or compliments."
But there is a line, of course -- especially when it comes to her husband Marco Perego.
"Not getting picked up, because my husband will kill you. But like, you know, 'Your wife is looking really hot.' We like that!"
Saldana, who revealed that she has "about eight weeks" to go until giving birth, also opened up about her increased appetite.
"I'm hungry all the time! I really am," she said after thanking Ferguson for a food tray. "It feels good. Food just tastes so delicious. It really does. ... You trick yourself, working in Hollywood, going, 'That burger's disgusting. A burger's awful.' But now that [I'm] pregnant [I'm] like, 'I could eat all this together — at the same time.'"
And what happened the one time Saldana attempted to go vegetarian?
"For one period -- for one season -- I lost the taste of meat so I was just having lentils and quinoa," she recalled. "But then there was a bad night where I had too much to drink and I ended up at In-N-Out. ... I've never been the salad type."
