Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
is giving Jimmy Fallon a run for his money – at least when it comes to finger injuries, except there was more to it than meets the eye.

The 43-year-old actor posted a video to social media, sharing with his fans (and the world), an accident that had happened on the set of Central Intelligence on Tuesday.

“Alright, just stepped off set. My director Rawson Thurber just ran up to me – we had a little accident. He said, ‘Are you bleeding?’ I said, ‘Bleed?’” Johnson said in the Instagram video, before the camera panned down to reveal his ring finger completely disfigured.

Johnson let out a chuckle before dropping the best response to Thurber’s question.

“I ain’t got time to bleed!” he said with a laugh.

Before you press play on the video, here’s our friendly warning that if you’re of the faint of heart, you probably don’t want to see this!

But not to worry guys, Johnson isn’t too broken up over it. “Alright, let’s pop this son of a b**** back in!” Johnson said with a smile.

Turns out, Johnson didn't actually suffer the on-set mishap. A rep for New Line, the studio behind Central Intelligence, told Variety that the hand wasn't actually his -- it was a prosthetic hand that was seemingly broken.

Oh The Rock, you nearly had us fooled!

Now, Fallon’s horrifying finger injury was a far more serious matter. The 40-year-old host returned to The Tonight Show on Monday, with a sizable bandage over his left hand, joking that he would be giving “high fours” for a while.

Fallon explained that he almost had to have his finger amputated due to the severity of his injury, which occurred June 26 when he caught his ring on a desk countertop and nearly tore off his finger. It required a six-hour surgery and he said he stayed in the ICU for 10 days.

“Apparently, the odds aren’t great and usually they just cut your finger off,” Fallon said. “I won’t get feeling back for eight weeks.”
