The Orange Is the New Black star announced her engagement to the fashion designer in March 2014, but have amicably split after nearly two years together.

The couple shared fond remarks via Twitter on Monday.

Rose shared the couple’s cute engagement story on Instagram last year, saying that Dahl -- who is the granddaughter of children’s author Roald Dahl -- turned the tables on her after rejecting her proposal three times.
“After asking her to be mine 3 times always to be rejected I swore I'd never ask again,” she captioned a sweet pic. “Then this morning at 6 am she broke into my house with flowers, coffee and a question.”

The pair, who frequently shared adorable social media shots, attended Taylor Swift’s show together back in August, so at least they’ve got the inside track on breakup songs.
