Joe Biden has warmed our collective hearts.
President Barack Obama turned 55 on Thursday, and his vice president went full BFF on us, sharing a sweet birthday message paired with a friendship bracelet adorably featuring both of their first names.
"Happy 55th, Barack! A brother to me, a best friend forever," Biden, 73, wrote on Twitter.

The heartwarming gift wasn't the only love the outgoing commander in chief received on his big day.
First Lady Michelle Obama shared a photo to Instagram, writing, "55 years young and that smile still gets me every single day. Happy birthday, Barack. I love you."

Meanwhile, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton shared this very memeable photo of herself with the president, writing simply, "Happy birthday, @POTUS."
And former president Bill Clinton called back to his balloon moment at the Democratic National Convention, writing, "Happy Birthday, @POTUS! I would’ve sent real balloons ??, but we used them all last week."
Outside of the political world, there have been plenty of birthday wishes for Obama to go around.
Friday Night Lights star Connie Britton shared a memory with the president, writing, "This was the first time I met him, and about fell over when he greeted me with 'clear eyes full hearts can't lose!'"
"Beyond his obvious great taste in television, this man has been a champion for American values and human decency these last 8 years, and, likely, for most of his 55," she continued. "I will forever be in awe of him, inspired by him, and grateful to him for what he has done for our country and the world."
