Adele is at it again!

The 28-year-old singer provided another memorable fan moment during her Monday night show at New York's Madison Square Garden -- the first of six planned performances -- when she welcomed a sweet 4-year-old and her family up to the stage.

"I saw this when I was coming up," Adele told the fan, accepting a handmade piece of art from her. "What's your name?"

The girl, wearing a pair of noise-canceling headphones, informed Adele that her name is Quinn, she's 4 years old, and she hails from New Jersey. "I have a little boy who's about to turn 4!" Adele told her.

Quinn was accompanied on stage by her aunt, while mom stayed back in the audience -- but not for long. "Mommy, quick! Come down!" Adele said, welcoming her to the stage. After exchanging hugs and learning that the family was celebrating Quinn's grandfather's 65th birthday, Adele offered a cheery "Hello!" and wave in his direction, and then took a photo with the family on-stage, offering to post it on her Instagram the next day.

The "Send My Love to Your New Lover" singer also sweetly promised to hang on to Quinn's art. "I'm gonna put this on my wall at home," she said. "I love this."

It's hard to believe that not too long ago, Adele was actually considering a retirement from the spotlight! The superstar opened up about her career doubts following the massive success of her sophomore album, 21, earlier this year.

"I just got really worried that I was never going to make anything that anyone liked again," she said in an interview with Graham Norton. "It was just like I was being self-critical of myself, it was nothing else other than that. And also I started to wonder maybe with 21 being so successful, is it enough for everyone? But I realized that it wasn't enough for me, so sorry."

Thankfully, Adele proved she was back and better than ever with the release of her third album, 25, last year.

"I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it so that I could do it properly," she said of the recording process. "I can't do anything else. This is all that I like doing."
