“Making calls 4 @HillaryClinton to FL voters while baby sleeps? #CampaigningFromMaternityLeave #ImWitHer (Caller sounded like me? IT WAS),” she wrote.

Washington welcomed her second child, a son, with husband Nnamdi Asomugha early last month, ET confirmed.

The ABC star has been a longtime Hillary fan, supporting her from the beginning. Back in April 2015, Washington spoke with ET’s Cameron Mathison about the then-hopeful nominee.

"Yeah, I’m thrilled," the actress said at the time. "I’m very thrilled. I’m excited for her, and I’m sure I’ll be hitting the stump trail."

In addition to supporting Hillary, Washington is also an outspoken activist. In late October, she took to Twitter to thank fans for their support following the birth of her second child and to talk about an issue very close to her heart.
