Prince Harry Set to Make First Public Appearance Since Confirming Relationship With Meghan Markle
Will the 'Suits' actress join him?
Prince Harry is stepping out, but not with Meghan Markle just yet!
The 32-year-old royal is scheduled to attend a veterans event at Westminster Abbey on Thursday, marking his first public appearance since confirming his relationship with the Suits actress. Additionally, Harry is to attend an HIV/AIDS event next week, as well as embarking on a Caribbean tour on Nov. 20.
But, the Palace confirms to ET that the 35-year-old actress will not be joining Harry at any of his official events and appearances this month.
Last week, Harry made a rare public statement to call out the media circus and online harassment his new girlfriend has been subjected to, while also confirming that they're dating.
"[Harry] has rarely taken formal action on the very regular publication of fictional stories that are written about him and he has worked hard to develop a professional relationship with the media, focused on his work and the issues he cares about," read the statement released by Kensington Palace. “The past week has seen a line crossed. His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment."

“Some of this has been very public - the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments," the statement continued. "Some of it has been hidden from the public - the nightly legal battles to keep defamatory stories out of papers; her mother having to struggle past photographers in order to get to her front door; the attempts of reporters and photographers to gain illegal entry to her home and the calls to police that followed; the substantial bribes offered by papers to her ex-boyfriend; the bombardment of nearly every friend, co-worker, and loved one in her life."
Meanwhile, even before dating Harry, Markle already had a royal fashion sense!
