It's the moment all Magneto-Professor X shippers have been waiting for.

Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy indulged their fandom on Tuesday during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, gamely acting out a fantasy imagined by a fan. For those who don't frequent Tumblr, the longtime pals and X-Men co-stars have become the subject of (usually suggestive) fan art over the years. Norton showed a few examples on air, including a drawing of the pair together on a balcony, leaning over each other to bake cookies, and one of Fassbender feeding a cherry to McAvoy.

Turning it over to his audience, Norton asked a handful of fans to issue their own requests for the actors.

"I want to see Michael entering an airplane toilet and turning around with a wink, and James following behind with a coy McAvoy smile," a woman named Victoria suggested.

That suggestion didn't come to fruition, but the duo did hilariously act out a scenario in which they ride together on a tandem bicycle through the streets of Paris. The meme-worthy moment was obviously incredible -- watch below.

Fassbender was on the show alongside co-star Marion Cotillard to promote Assassin's Creed, while McAvoy stars in M. Night Shyamalan's Split, out next month.

In real life, Fassbender shares a romance with his The Light Between Oceans co-star, Alicia Vikander.

The couple sweetly gushed over their instant chemistry in an interview with ET in July. Watch below.
