In October 2016, Kotb shared on her SiriusXM radio show that she was moving in with Schiffman after dating him since 2013. "It’s a little weird to be in your 50s and we’re like, ‘Hey, we’re moving in!’” the Today show co-host quipped. “It’s like we’re kids. It’s so weird.”

On the fourth hour of the Today show on Tuesday, Kotb called in to share the news that she was now a mother to Haley Joy.
