How to Get Away With Dating Your Co-Star: Become friends first!
How to Get Away With Murder star Charlie Weber opened up about his romance with co-star Liza Weil during an appearance on the Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss podcast on Wednesday, and so far, Weber is enjoying it "quite a bit."
“We’re very like-minded when it comes to our approach to acting. We’re two actors who are very dedicated to what they do and have a very easy time separating who we are and who we are as characters," Weber shared, before describing how the two took their work relationship to the next level.
“We were great friends and we found ourselves in a position to be more than that,” he explained. “You spend a lot of time [together] and we, I very much enjoyed spending time away from work and so it all just kind of came together like that … I’m very happy.”
Weber, 38, and Weil, 40, who shared a steamy sex scene in season three of the ABC drama, started dating in the summer of 2016. Weil filed for divorce from husband Paul Adelstein in March 2016 after nine years of marriage. The two are parents to a 7-year-old daughter, Josephine.
Weber, meanwhile, had just come off of his own relationship, splitting with his ex, Giselle, in February 2016, after less than a year of marriage.
