Ryan Reynolds is channeling his signature Deadpool humor for a good cause.
The 41-year-old actor is partnering with Omaze to auction off a pink Deadpool suit, with the proceeds going to will go LetsFCancer, a non-profit charity that provides prevention, early detection and support to those affected by cancer.
"Oh, hello there, you may be wondering, 'Why the pink suit?'" Reynolds says in the hilarious PSA. "Well, it's so the world can see that I have a big old heart-on. That's heart with a T, for my new obsession -- pink, the color, not the pop singer -- personally, I'm more of a Celine type of guy."
"This is one fight where everyone can be a hero," he continues. "No super powers, capes or lame CG costumes needed. Just your money -- seriously, we need that, these suits aren't cheap."
The disease is clearly a cause personal to Reynolds' heart, given that his character Deadpool is diagnosed with terminal cancer. The Canadian actor has continually reached out to children with cancer through the Make a Wish Foundation.
Reynolds recently responded to rumors about his marriage with Blake Lively with his trademark dry sense of humor.
