'Sister Wives' Star Meri Brown Shares What She’s Looking for in a Romantic Partner

Meri Brown split from Kody Brown in early 2023 and has had one relationship since.

Meri Brown is laying out her hopes for a future partner more than a year after her split from Kody Brown. The 53-year-old Sister Wives star shared a video of herself answering some of Google's top questions about her, including a big one about her dating life.

When asked if she was dating months after announcing the end of her brief romance with a man named Amos, Meri replied, "Not exclusively. I have gone out on a few dates."

"Prince Charming has not arrived. I'm not really looking for a prince. No, I'm looking for a king," Meri added. "There's a bit of an energetic difference there. A prince is still a boy. I want a man who knows who he is."

In terms of her checklist for a future partner, Meri wants someone who is self-assured and can match her energy.

"I want somebody who knows who he is and is confident in who he is," she explained. "Because I know who I am and I'm confident in who I am and I need somebody who can match my energy. When we cross paths, we'll know it."

After years of estrangement in her spiritual marriage, Meri officially called it quits from Kody in early 2023. She went on to announce her new relationship with Amos in early 2024, calling things off shortly afterwards.

Meri was the third of Kody's wives to end their marriage. Christine Brown announced their split in 2021 and went on to remarry David Woolley. Janelle Brown also separated from Kody in 2022. Robyn Brown is Kody's only remaining wife.

Janelle spoke with ET in November 2023, sharing that she wasn't ready to date after her split from Kody.

"I'm still not. My children really are my thing. I'm really wrapped up with them, I'm focused on them," Janelle told ET. "I think for me it would be to have a real partner. Just someone who is working along side-by-side with me in everything you're doing."
