'Idol' Girls Intimidated to Honor Whitney Houston

With the American Idol competition set for another exciting round of live shows tonight, ET caught up with the Top 13 and discovered their thoughts on performing renditions of Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder songs.

"I'm kind of nervous because it's Whitney Houston," contestant Jessica Sanchez said. "There's no voice like hers and people are really judgmental about covering her songs, but we're just going to do the best that we can."

Shannon Magrane echoed Sanchez's thoughts, stating that it was "intimidating" to sing a Whitney song but that she thinks that she can produce a good rendition.

As for what to expect from the guys singing their Stevie Wonder covers, Jermaine "Gentle Giant" Jones revealed that he's going to spice it up a little.

"I'm going to put my little twist on it…using my gift, my voice, and my lower register with some high [notes]," Jones revealed. "A lot of people aren't going to be able to expect that—kind of do a little a contrast this week."
