"She passed away because my body wouldn't hold her," Ashley said of the child she and her husband Jason named Ava Nicole. "She was alive for two hours after I had her. She was breathing and we held her and there was nothing we could do about it because she was so small."

Today, Ashley and Jason are parents to a boy for whom Ashley wants to set a healthy example.

"I have this huge fear of ruining my son's life," said Ashley, who weighed in at 325 pounds.

In showing his support for Ashley, Jason (who weighs 398 pounds) made host Chris Powell's day when he joined his wife in the commitment to lose 80 pounds in 90 days.

"I can't tell you how happy I am to hear that," said Chris. "Ashley's chances of success quadruple if you're on board."

Extreme Weight Loss airs Tuesday nights at 8/7c on ABC.
