Furious 7
star Ludacris shared an on-set Instagram pic teasing his part on the hit hip-hop drama's second season, but from the looks of it, he may not be bringing his rap talents to the show.

"This could get interesting…." the rapper-turned-actor captioned the pic, adding the hashtag "#empireseason2."

In the photo, Ludacris - who tends to go by given name Chris Bridges on acting gigs - is pictured in uniform next to series star Terrence Howard, whose character Lucious Lyon was sent to jail at the end of the first season, dressed in his prison orange.

Fox confirms that the rapper will guest star in one episode of Empire’s second season, playing a hard-working correctional officer and veteran of the Federal Bureau of Prisons who believes that celebrity inmates should be treated no differently than regular criminals - especially Lucious Lyon.

While it sounds like the two will be adversaries, we’ve still got our fingers crossed for a behind-bars collaboration!
