Amy Schumer is making her return to the small screen.
Netflix announced on Tuesday that the 35-year-old comedian will premiere a brand new stand-up comedy special on the streaming service on March 7. The special was taped on Nov. 5 at Bellco Theater in Denver, Colorado.
This will be Schumer's first TV project since wrapping the fourth season of her Emmy-winning Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer, last year. Her HBO comedy special, Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo, also earned several nominations at the 2015 Emmys.
Now that Schumer has her foot in the door at Netflix, she joked that she's looking to land a role in one of their beloved scripted series. "Very happy to be a part of the Netflix family for this special,” the Snatched star said in a statement. “Maybe now they will look at my Stranger Things audition tape to play the demogorgon for season two."
At Sunday's Golden Globes, Schumer and boyfriend Ben Hanisch didn't miss a chance to pose with Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp. Amy Adams also attempted to jump in the pic.
"Ummmmm things got strange #goldenglobes #amyadamsphotobomb," Schumer captioned the image.
