'The Walking Dead' Reveals Season 8 Premiere Date, Unveils Promo Poster -- See the Pic!
The Walking Dead is coming back.
AMC unveiled the new season promo poster for its juggernaut zombie drama series' eighth season, which will return on October 22. The show's spinoff, Fear the Walking Dead, is coming back a little sooner, on September 10.

The Walking Dead's season premiere also happens to be the show's 100th episode.
Production on the show resumed this week after being halted for days due to the death of prolific stuntman, John Bernecker, who died after suffering severe injuries in a tragic on-set accident.
“Our production is heartbroken by the tragic loss of John Bernecker,” showrunner Scott Gimple said in a statement last Friday. “John’s work on The Walking Dead and dozens of other movies and shows will continue to entertain and excite audiences for generations.”
