The so-called ‘Renaissance woman’ joins the cast of the Bravo series for season two, premiering Monday, July 16.

Southern Charm Savannah is back -- and there’s a new gal in the group!

ET has your exclusive first look at cast newbie Hagood Coxe’s debut in the season two premiere. The 20-something brings some serious southern roots to the group, having grown up on the largest rice plantation in South Carolina.

“I grew up in the most beautiful place in the world,” Hagood gushes in her introduction, “my family’s farm in Darlington, South Carolina. My dad decided about 18 years ago to start growing rice, so now we are a rice plantation.”

“I’m absolutely a mix of tomboy and southern belle,” she continues. “I was a lead debutante. I went to cotillion. I went to all-girls boarding school. But, where I was from, you were hardly a southern belle if you can’t skin a catfish!”

While Hagood is a talented scientific illustrator with a Bachelor’s degree from Savannah College of Art and Design, she’s now focused on her family’s business. Well, actually, reinventing her family’s business. She wants to utilize their rice crops to make saké, Japanese rice wine.

“I decided on saké, because I love Japanese culture,” she says. “It’s something people haven’t done as much.”

See Hagood show off her saké production set-up to her mom in the clip here:
