Young Sheldon's getting a little bit older!

The CBS comedy has been renewed for season two, the network announced on Saturday. Young Sheldon, the most-watched new comedy on any network in 18 years, is CBS' first renewal for the 2018-2019 season.

The half-hour comedy starring Iain Armitage, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Raegan Revord, Montana Jordan and the voice of Jim Parsons, follows Parsons' Big Bang Theory character, Sheldon Cooper, as he navigates high school in east Texas at just 9 years old.

Parsons also executive produces the spinoff, alongside Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro and Todd Spiewak.
