Billie Eilish Jokes She Feels Like Skipper to Margot Robbie's Barbie on Oscar Night (Exclusive)

The Oscar winner wowed while on the red carpet showing off her librarian look.

Billie Eilish is proud to ooze librarian vibes. And if she was a doll she'd be Skipper, not Barbie.

The Oscar winner and her equally impressive sibling, Finneas O’Connell, hit the red carpet on Sunday at the 96th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and she couldn't contain her excitement at her super stylish attire. She told ET's Nischelle Turner, "Oh my god! Don't gas me up!" when told she looked like a million bucks.

And, yes, she also gave off doll vibes.

"I feel like yeah, for sure, I'm not Barbie. Margot [Robbie] is Barbie," she said. "Skipper is a G! I am giving a little librarian thing, and I am happy about it."

Skipper, played by Erica Ford in Greta Gerwig's Barbie, is one of Barbie's little sisters.

The siblings joked that time's up as far as being ready to perform their ballad "What Was I Made For?," which is nominated for Best Original Song. "The Fire Inside" from Flamin' Hot; "I'm Just Ken" from Barbie; "It Never Went Away" from American Symphony; and "Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)" from Killers of the Flower Moon are also nominated.

As for their performance, Billie and Finneas say fans can expect it to be "super simple" but also very meaningful.

"What I like about it is that it's very back to how we created the song, very much just me and Phineas and kind of nothing else," she said. "It's very much the two of us that's really special to me."

Ryan Gosling is also set to perform Barbie's "I'm Just Ken."

The 2024 Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, airs live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 10, at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET on ABC. Follow along at ETonline.com for full Oscars coverage, including red carpet arrivals, the complete winners list and more.
