Britney Spears Visits Hair Salon Amid Treatment at Health Facility

The pop songstress was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Britney Spears has stepped out for the first time since checking herself into a health facility.

ET has learned that Spears was able to leave her treatment facility on Thursday to get her hair done, but intends to return to the center as she's still in treatment.

Spears arrived to the salon with a team of three people to get her blonde roots touched up, according to E! News.

"Several people worked on Britney's hair and were very quick and efficient to get her out of there as fast as possible," eyewitnesses told the outlet. "She seemed fine and content... [She] was definitely excited to get her hair done."

According to the outlet, those who saw her, the singer is "feeling refreshed" and dutifully practicing self-care while staying at the facility.

Earlier this month, a source close to the Spears family shared with ET that the 37-year-old singer checked herself into a facility to help her cope with the tremendous stress she's dealing with over her father, Jamie Spears', health crisis.

A second source shared that she's been having an especially hard time in 2019, and took it upon herself to seek help.

In January, the hitmaker announced that she had decided to postpone work on her album as well as put her new Britney: Domination show at the Park Theater at the Park MGM resort in Las Vegas on hold until further notice.

Earlier in April, Spears posted an inspirational quote on Instagram that read: "Fall in love with taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit."

"We all need to take time for a little 'me time,'" she captioned the post.

Late last year, Jamie was rushed to the hospital when his colon ruptured. According to a release, he spent 28 days in the hospital, and the family credited the doctors and nurses for saving his life.

"She seems to be on a constant roller coaster and can't get off," a source said afterward. "She is finally getting the help she needs."

"She is the one who finally decided she needed help and made the decision to manage her own emotions," the source added. "She finally realized it was affecting her everyday life and even her relationships. She wants to feel better and more relaxed and taking time to focus on herself truly is her only option. It has been a rough year. While those closest to her have encouraged her to get help, she finally decided on her own it was time."

Jamie's health issues have also tested the singer's relationship with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari.

"She hasn't felt emotionally available for the relationship," the source said. "She has been white-knuckling this time just trying to hold it together."

However, a source previously shared that Asghari, a personal trainer, has really stepped up to support Britney.

"Her boyfriend, Sam, has been there for Britney and her family through this difficult time," the source shared. "After what Britney has been through in her past relationships, it's taken the family a great deal of time to trust any man, and the family has really taken to Sam."

But, a source told ET in February, "Britney will never regret taking this time off to focus on her father and her family and she's looking forward to returning to the stage and doing what she loves most."

As for Britney's sons Jayden, 12, and Sean, 13, a source shared that they are safe and sound with their father, Kevin Federline.

"The boys are in school and with their father. Britney always puts the kids first and chose this time to get help while they are with their dad," the source said. "[The boys] have not been disrupted because this is their time they are normally with their father."
