Take a peek at the iconic singer's new post!

An injury isn't going to stop Sir Elton John!

On Thursday, the legendary British singer revealed on Instagram that he recently sustained a sprained ankle amid his travels in Italy. However, he made it clear that it isn't slowing him down!

"Not even a sprained ankle could keep me away from seeing one of the most beautiful museums in the world," he captioned a photo of himself sporting a tracksuit while sitting in a wheelchair at the Uffizi Gallery, a renowned museum in Florence, Italy.

Unfortunately this minor ankle injury isn't the only health concern the 71-year-old crooner has coped with recently. In the fall, he was forced to postpone a number of concerts on his farewell tour in Florida due to an ear infection. The news shocked fans, especially as it broke 30 minutes after he was scheduled to begin an Orlando show in November.

"Elton has been on a course of antibiotics to combat an ear infection and it was expected that these would clear the infection in time to play the Orlando show," a Twitter statement later read. "Elton had traveled to the venue but after further consultation with doctors before he took the stage, the decision had to be taken on their advice that unfortunately he still wasn't well enough to perform."

"Elton and his band play 100% live and with impaired hearing and ear pain he wouldn't have been able to deliver the performance his fans deserve," the statement continued. "He will take a couple of days rest to allow the infection to clear up and both will be rescheduled as soon as possible."

Here's hoping Sir Elton's ankle heals by the time Rocketman, starring Taron Egerton as the iconic performer, arrives in theaters on May 31!
