Everything Chip and Joanna Gaines Have Told Us About Welcoming Baby No. 5 Post-'Fixer Upper'

Find out what the husband-and-wife duo told ET about the possibility of another pregnancy back in October -- right around the time they conceived!

Five is a lucky number for the Gaines family -- now more than ever!

Chip and Joanna Gaines announced Tuesday night that they're expecting their fifth child, sharing the good news with fans by posting a very adorable dual "bump" photo to Chip's Instagram.

Before the announcement, Chip shared three hints that his wife was pregnant again. First, the 43-year-old reality star tweeted that Tuesday's new episode of Fixer Upper was a must-watch. He followed that up with another tweet, an hour later, noting that the reveal was airing as he posted to social media.

His third tweet was honestly more TMI than a hint, sharing that the couple conceived after seeing the pop-folk duo JOHNNYSWIM perform in the Gaines' Waco, Texas, hometown on Oct. 12.

"Hint #3 You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco," he wrote. "And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber."

Five days after the concert in question, Chip and Joanna sat down with ET's Kevin Frazier, where there was plenty of talk about having another child -- mostly by Chip.

Joanna, 39, explained that the couple chose to end their hit HGTV show after season five in order to spend more time with their kids.

"We were doing this before the show, and... we really care that it feels authentic, that when you see it, it's truly that we do what we love. And I think with our kids getting older and time going away -- where is the time going? -- I think a year longer, maybe we would've lost some of that passion," she said. "And I never want to show up and act. We really want to truly love it and be passionate about it. But if we know our kids are at home going. 'Hey, we really want this or that,' I think that would be hard for us to stomach."

"We've been really praying through this for a year. I think the number five is symbolic for grace. We have the grace to get through season five. It's perfect -- that just felt right to us."

"Isn't that odd? We've only got four children, but the number five continues to resonate," Chip added, to which Joanna responded, "He is so determined."

Well, Chip, you got your wish! Here's to lucky number five!
