The 56-year-old actress is facing facing four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer and one charge of resisting or obstructing an officer.

Heather Lockler has pleaded not guilty.

The Melrose Place star, who is facing four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer and one charge of resisting or obstructing an officer, entered a not guilty plea on Thursday. The charges stem from Locklear's February arrest for an incident at home involving her boyfriend, Chris Heisser.

The 56-year-old actress was arrested on Feb. 25 after a domestic violence call was reported at a residence. In an initial investigation, police alleged that she had battered Heisser at the residence prior to their arrival. During the arrest, police said Locklear became combative and uncooperative, and allegedly battered three deputies.

Locklear entered rehab last month, and just two weeks ago, a source told ET that she she was continuing treatment. However, another source revealed that while Locklear is sober, she's back "into the arms" of Heisser.

"They are like oil and water, fighting nonstop," the source said, adding that Locklear's family wants to see her and Heisser part ways.

"Her family wants to see her focus on her health and sobriety, and once that's in place, she can then start fresh with a new man,” the source shared. “Right now, Heather is sober and she is in therapy. She is taking it one day at a time.”

ET has reached out to Locklear's attorney for comment.
