Jennifer Aniston on How She Got Into the Best Shape of Her Life & Her Surprising Workout Playlist (Exclusive)

The actress listens to some surprising tunes during her workouts.

Jennifer Aniston is in the best shape of her life, and it's all thanks to Pvolve.

"It's like I found a precious stone of some sort," the actress told ET's Deidre Behar of the workout that combines low-impact functional fitness with resistance-based equipment. "It's just changed my whole outlook on working out. It's something I look forward to."

Aniston offered specific praise to Dani Coleman, the company's director of training who also serves as her personal trainer.

"She meets me where I'm at," Aniston said of Coleman. "You can curate each workout to wherever you are that day... [You can] build yourself up slowly. It really can meet you wherever you're at physically. It's not intimidating. Once you do it, you can really see how it is doable for everybody."

As a result, Aniston said she feels "stronger from the inside out in ways that I've never quite been before," adding, "There's muscle definition that I didn't know I could have."

Aniston believes that the workout has "helped so many people" in addition to her, and is eager to get even more on board with her Spring ChallengeWorkout Calendar, and Essentials Bundle for the company. Among those she's hoping to introduce to Pvolve are her famous Friends, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.

"I'm still trying to get Courteney to take a class with me, but I'm working on her," Aniston told ET. "Lisa's working so often [that] I can barely get her in Los Angeles."

When she does introduce someone to Pvolve, Aniston assures them that the science-led workout is not another weight loss fad.

"Fads are what they are -- they're just fads. They come and they go, and it's not very science-based or backed by much," she said. "... When I was in my 20s, was there a grapefruit diet for a second there? Sure. I remember doing that. I also remember doing Nutrisystem... Things like that just aren't sustainable."

Essentially, Aniston said, getting in shape is "all about balance and it's all about common sense."

"Calories in, calories out. You put good, healthy vegetables, organic foods in your body, your body is gonna thrive on it. Put crap in your body, and your body's gonna show that," she said. "Your body is just a reflection of everything that you do. It's about maintaining a balance."

To find that balance in her life, Aniston follows the 80/20 rule.

"Eighty percent straight as an arrow, doing all that we're supposed to do, and then give yourself 20 percent of fun," she said. "That's like, let's go out with the girls and get Mexican food, margaritas. Let’s have a pizza party. Let’s barbeque burgers and fries, hot dogs, by the pool. It's indulging and enjoying yourself and maybe saying, 'I'm not gonna work out today.'"

When she does get to the gym, though, Aniston said that "a great playlist" is "really almost half of the workout." As for what makes up her own music mix, Aniston revealed, "Beyoncé, we love. I love the Foo Fighters. I mean, I've been worshiping them forever. And then also, some old hip hop, '90s hip hop."
