If there's one thing Vice Admiral Holdo has, it's a sense of humor! Laura Dern had no problem poking fun at her now-viral reaction to the Internet sensation Baby Yoda on Wednesday.

It all started when the Stars Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi star was being interviewed on a red carpet by Variety and talk turned to Baby Yoda from the new Disney Plus show, The Mandalorian. When the interviewer asked Dern if she'd seen Baby Yoda yet, she replied, "Yes, I did. Just today."

Things got even more strange when Dern added, completely straight-faced, "I think he was at a basketball game. That's all I'm going to say. I think I saw him at a basketball game."

The moment soon went viral as fans tried to figure out whether Dern was just kidding or whether she genuinely had no idea who Baby Yoda was.

Getting in on the fun, Dern took to Instagram late Wednesday night to share a photo of herself and her Little Women co-star, Timothée Chalamet, on the jumbotron at a Boston Celtics game.

"Caught a game to see if I could find him again. #BabyYoda," Dern captioned the shot of herself and Chalamet cracking up.

She also shared another laughing photo with Chalamet on her Instagram Story, writing, "Exactly ZERO fun was had. #babyyoda."

ESPN writer Tim Bontemps tweeted from the game, "I ran into Laura Dern tonight at TD Garden, and I had to ask her about her Baby Yoda comment the other day. Here’s what she said: 'Well, I love the NBA, so when I got asked about where I might see him I couldn’t help but say an NBA game. But he’s here. I saw him.'”

Dern also replied to several accounts tweeting the original story with comments like, "I believe her," and, "believe women," simply (and hilariously) saying, "Thank you."

Dern recently teased her reprisal of her iconic role as Dr. Ellie Sattler in Jurassic World 3 when speaking with ET's Lauren Zima

"I mean, she's just going to be heroic! That's all I know," Dern declared, adding, "But I know nothing else."
