DMX Memorial: Swizz Beatz, Eve and More Reflect on His Legacy at Memorial Service

DMX’s family and friends honored the late rapper on Saturday. Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Eve and more paid tribute at his Celebration of Life memorial service. DMX’s casket arrived in a monster truck at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where crowds of fans had gathered outside. Kanye’s Sunday Service Choir opened the ceremony with a medley of emotional performances. Eve said, ‘What I pray, what I hope, I prayed to God … that his journey was smooth. I know that he will rest in power. Rest in love and most of all he will rest in peace.’ At the end of the service, Swizz Beatz invited everyone to sing the chorus of DMX’s Ruff Ryder’s Anthem.
