Ellen Pompeo Steps Back From ‘Grey's Anatomy’ Season 19 as She Joins New Hulu Series

Ellen Pompeo is taking a step back from ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ ET has learned the actress will appear in eight episodes for season 19 and Ellen will continue on the show as an executive producer. Meredith Grey’s reduced presence comes as Ellen joins an upcoming limited series at Hulu.
