Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla, opens up to ET’s Deidre Behar about ‘Selena: The Series,’ which starts streaming Dec. 4 on Netflix. Suzette discusses the new series and how it’s different from the 1997 biopic starring Jennifer Lopez. She praises series lead Christian Serratos, as well as stars Noemi Gonzalez, Gabriel Chavarria, Ricardo Chavira and Seidy Lopez. Suzette explains why it was important for the Quintanilla family to continue sharing Selena’s story and how she and her family reacted when they watched the series for the first time. While it’s challenging to cope with Selena’s death, Suzette explains how she finds ‘beauty in the ugliness’ and chooses to focus on all cherished memories and timeless music they made together.
