Anne Geddes Shares Unique Pregnancy Stories

Many entertainment fans are interested in keeping updated on their favorite female celebrities as they progress through pregnancy. Renowned photographer Anne Geddes isolates the fascination of the journey of pregnancy with everyday women in her new magazine my Pregnancy: A Woman's Story.

"For 30 years of my career I've been talking to...pregnant women straight after they've had their babies and they've been telling me these amazing stories so I thought, 'Wouldn't it be fantastic to do a project that's just about the women themselves?'" she explained.

Having accumulated so many intriguing pregnancy stories to pass along to the public, Geddes decided to compile a tri-annual magazine composed of candid stories from woman about their unique experiences with pregnancy.

"When pregnant women pick up this magazine, I want them to feel a sense of the importance of the sisterhood of women," she said. "We are all a sisterhood and I think that in lot of ways pregnancy is very undervalued...The main message through this is [that] every pregnancy has a story."

Geddes' new magazine my Pregnancy: A Woman's Story will be sold exclusively at the 578 Destination Maternity, A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity stores in the U.S. and Canada.
