In the wake of former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham's Vivid Entertainment-released sex tape, the very same company which marketed Kim Kardashian's intimate 2007 video, comparisons between the two reality stars has run rampant. In a sit down with ET's Brooke Anderson, Abraham made it clear she doesn't want to be put side by side with the Kardashian.
"We are two different people, two different situations," said the 22-year-old single mother. "I also don't agree with everything that she's done in her life, so I hope to live my life a little bit differently."
While Kardashian's road to stardom began with infamy, Abraham began her journey into the spotlight with MTV's 16 and Pregnant, which chronicled the raising of her daughter Sophia after her the death of her boyfriend.
In ET's interview, Abraham revealed that breaking the news to her parents about her recent sex tape was just as terrifying as it was to tell her folks about her unplanned pregnancy. In tears, she told ET she feared losing her parents' respect afterwards.
"I only want my parents to see me like..." said the star, trailing off as her eyes welled up with tears. "I'd rather come to my parents and say, you know, 'Yes, I' am having sex with somebody I'm in a relationship with.'"
