Alison Pill has quite the sparkler on her hand.
The Newsroom may have ended, but one of its stars has a brand new beginning.
Alison Pill, who played Maggie Jordan on the HBO series, got engaged to her actor beau Joshua Leonard, 39, at Joshua Tree National Park. Pill, 29, posted their happy pic on Instagram yesterday saying, "Let's do this 2015!"
Just days before the engagement, the duo decorated the tree at Christmas together as Alison posted this pic at her family celebration.

Talk about a happy way to start 2015! This will be a big year for Pill as she’ll also star in Zoom, a film about a comic book artist, a novelist, and a film director authoring stories about each other.
