As the title and sexy album cover suggests, Demi Lovato's new record is ALL about confidence!
The 23-year-old singer told ET at the 2015 VMA carpet in Los Angeles that she wanted to "make a statement" with the new album.
"The album is called 'Confident,'" she explained. "And I wanted something that was going to best represent the album title, where I'm at today and the music."

"I've never been more confident in my life and it was the perfect album title," Demi continued.
Demi continued her message of self love and empowerment when addressing her views on plastic surgery, particularly among young people.

"I'm not one to judge when it comes to plastic surgery," she said. "I feel like it's really important to love yourself no matter what your flaws are. If somebody wants to get it that's fine, maybe they should wait until they are older."
Demi, who has been very open about her past struggles with drugs, alcohol, as well as an eating disorder, and has often credited her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama for getting her on the right track, has the 35-year-old's full faith and support on her newest artistic move.
"I think Demi is on a path for, you know, mega-stardom," Wilmer told ET in July. "I think she's gonna redefine pop culture in a level that people can't even expect next year, for sure."
The now-confident Demi opened up to Cosmopolitan earlier in August about once being jealous of VMA host, Miley Cyrus.
"There was a time when I was jealous of people who were able to party," Demi reveals. "For instance, Miley -- in her music video 'Can't Stop,' her whole thing was partying and not giving a f**k. Part of me was super jealous that I couldn’t be like that. I had to look at my life and be like, 'Okay, that's just not what you can do. There's no need to be bitter about it.'"
