Track Palin Charged With Domestic Assault, Possession of Weapon While Intoxicated

's oldest son has been charged with hitting his alleged girlfriend.

was arraigned in Alaska on Tuesday, after being charged with fourth degree domestic assault, interfering with a domestic violence report, and misconduct involving weapons.

The Wasilla police department confirmed to ET that officers responded to an incident on Monday night at 10:04 p.m. The police tell ET that a woman had called reporting a male had punched her in the face, and that a gun was involved.

"An investigation revealed Track Palin had committed a domestic violence assault on a female, interfered with her ability to report a crime of domestic violence, and possessed a firearm while intoxicated," the police said in a statement.

The 26-year-old was arrested and held without bail until the arraignment, police reveal.

An affidavit obtained by ET claims that Palin -- who had a blood alcohol level of .189 -- identified the alleged victim, Jordan Lowe, as his girlfriend, and stated that the altercation stemmed from Lowe maintaining correspondence with an ex-boyfriend.

At this time, Palin has not plead guilty to any charges. ET has reached out to the Palin family's rep and attorney.

Meanwhile, amid her son's mounting legal troubles, Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump for president on Tuesday.
