Kaia Gerber is officially a blonde -- temporarily, that is!
The 14-year-old model, who is naturally brunette, took to Instagram on Friday to share a snap of her sporting short, platinum blonde tresses. According to her caption, however, the new look was all just for fun.

"Just a lil wig :)," she wrote.
Her 420K followers were quick to comment on the dramatic 'do, writing things like, "How does she look good either way? I don't get it!" "So Gwen Stefani," and "Kaia, it looks like it's your real hair roots and everything. I guess wigs have come a long way!"

Real or not, one thing's for sure -- even with her lighter locks, Gerber still looks like a spitting image of her supermodel mama, Cindy Crawford.
Earlier this week, Crawford and her mini-me daughter -- whom she shares with Rande Gerber -- shared their first-ever joint cover for Vogue Paris' April issue, in which the two brunette beauties appear almost identical in matching leather jackets and hoop earrings.

"What is life?!! I honestly can't breathe right now. a million thank you's to @vogueparis & @mariotestino!!" Gerber adorably captioned the pic, shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino.
Crawford, 50, echoed her daughter's statement, captioning her post, "Such a special moment sharing a cover with my daughter -- April issue of @VogueParis!"

Last October, Gerber turned heads in a strapless Emporio Armani dress while attending a party for the teen version of the high-fashion glossy. She even sported Crawford's signature tousled hairstyle at the star-studded young Hollywood soiree.
