The star spoke with ET about his eldest daughter's first car, and how long it took her to total it.
Teaching your kids to drive is always a scary prospect, but for Jamie Foxx, the task was even more harrowing than expected.
The Oscar winner was joined by his two daughters, 24-year-old Corinne and 7-year-old Annalise, at the premiere of his new action comedy Baby Driver, on Wednesday, and the star opened up to ET's Ali Fedotowsky-Manno about his own babies' first driving experience.

According to Jamie, while Annalise is already allowed to "drive the G-Wagon down the driveway," his eldest daughter didn't get behind the wheel for the first time until she was 16.
"She got an Infiniti," Foxx recalled. "She crashed it two weeks later."
"I ran it into a fire hydrant," Corinne chimed in.
While some parents might be mad, the protective dad said all he could do was "hope she was OK."
"And, you know, the insurance was cool," he added. "Our insurance game was up and we just keep rolling."

As for the celebrated star, his early experiences behind the wheel were quite a bit different than his daughter's.
Looking back at the first time he took his driving test, Jamie remembered, "I was driving my grandmother's LTD. I was trying to [parallel] park, bumped one of the cones… I forgot to turn the lights on, so I flunked at first."
"But I'm good now though," he assured. "I got it."
