Bynes' Lawyer: Amanda is 'Fine'

Amanda Bynes' lawyer Richard Hutton tells ET that recent reports on his client are "exaggerated," and that Bynes is in fact "fine."

He also gave an update on her Beverly Hills DUI case from last April -- in which she allegedly hit a Los Angeles County sheriff's department cruiser and refused a Breathalyzer test -- which is close to a resolution.

Bynes was charged last June with driving under the influence in West Hollywood in connection with the April 6 incident, and Hutton is confident that there will be a plea deal. Her pre-trial and trial setting hearing is scheduled for July 18th at Airport Courthouse in Los Angeles.

Hutton does not think her most recent trouble with the law -- she was arrested at her New York apartment on Thursday for reckless endangerment, tampering with physical evidence and physical position of marijuana -- will affect the case.

Hutton, who has talked to Bynes recently, says their conversations are "normal" and that there is "no physical evidence" backing up Amanda's headline-making arrest Thursday.
