Joan & Melissa Reveal Globes Best & Worst!
People are still talking about the winning and losing styles during Sunday's Golden Globes red carpet ceremony and we went to two of the event's biggest annual critics -- Joan and Melissa Rivers -- to find out who made their list of best and worst dressed!
Calling the Golden Globe Awards her favorite event of the year because it's not "stiff" like other awards shows, Joan wasted no time taking out the claws to zero in on the some of the night's fashion faux pas moments.
"Destroy it right now," she said about Paula Patton's puffy white gown. And concerning Golden Globe winner Jennifer Lawrence's much-written-about dress, Joan said, "It looked like she wrapped a bed sheet around her and took two braids... she should be ashamed because Dior pays her a lot of money." Melissa also added: "Dior should be ashamed."
But the mother-daughter duo -- who were attending a launch party for Melissa's Fashion Police co-star George Kotsiopoulos (author of Glamorous by George: The Key to Creating Movie-Star Style) -- also gave rave reviews to some of the styles hitting the Golden Globes red carpet. "Lupita Nyong'o (12 Years a Slave), when she walked out, and that's her first red carpet, it was a moment, it was a fashion moment," Melissa said. The two also praised the Golden Globe gowns worn by Cate Blanchett Sofia Vergara.
