Despite her best efforts, Pink has had to cancel her upcoming show in Canada due to illness.
The "What About Us" artist took to Twitter on Thursday to announce that she is officially too sick to perform her Friday show, as part of her Beautiful Trauma Tour, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
"I am absolutely GUTTED to announce that tomorrow's show, March 23rd (Friday) will be postponed," the 38-year-old singer wrote in a statement. "I will absolutely be back to perform for you all and I'm grateful for you wanting to come and be with us at all."
Pink explained that her "entire family have been battling this awful virus/flu for two weeks now, and I have battled my way through these shows because postponing sucks."
"I'm really sorry and know that I have done everything I could to avoid this," Pink wrote, adding that her husband, Carey Hart, has been "sent home with the flu" as she and their two children -- 6-year-old daughter Willow and 1-year-old son Jameson -- are also battling illnesses.
"I wish anyone out there going through this healing vibes and big hugs," she concluded.
The pop icon previously performed two shows at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario on March 20 and 21, following 11 stops in the U.S. as part of her tour, which kicked off March 1.
There's no word yet on when Pink plans on returning to Montreal to perform the postponed engagement, or if she will have to cancel her next stop at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, on March 25.
This isn’t the first time this year Pink has battled the flu. The singer revealed in February that she was under the weather just one day before she was set to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. However, she managed to fight through the illness to deliver a powerful performance. Check out the video below to see more.
