The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary back in May.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are celebrating a special day!

In honor of the two-year anniversary of announcing their engagement to the world, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took to their joint Instagram page to share how their life has changed over the last couple of years.

To mark the occasion, the couple shared three pics with their followers: one from the day of the announcement, another from their May 2018 nuptials, and a final shot from when they introduced their 6-month-old son, Archie, to the press days after his birth.

"On this day, two years ago: 27th of November 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the news of their engagement, later becoming Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex!" the caption read. "They have since celebrated their wedding anniversary and welcomed their son, Archie, into the world ❤️"

The special day comes shortly after a source told ET that Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, are planning to use their holiday break -- which they'll spend with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland -- to "recharge their batteries."

Royal expert Katie Nicholl recently told ET, "While we understand the plan is to spend Thanksgiving in the U.S., we don't know when the couple will be coming back and there is some speculation that they may extend this trip and stay out in the States for Christmas as well."

"They may choose to take a leaf out of William and Kate's book and spend one year in the U.K. with Harry's family and the next year in the U.S. with Doria," she continued. "I think there's every chance that they might spend Christmas in America."
