Selma Blair is trying to look on the bright side, but it's not always that easy.

The 46-year-old actress got candid about her battle with multiple sclerosis, sharing on Instagram on Friday that she "cannot imagine ever feeling OK," but will get through it.

"Here’s a truth. I feel sick as all hell. I am vomiting and all the things which are not polite to speak of. My son ran away. From me. I have to get him to school," Blair wrote alongside a photo of her lying down in bed with a teddy bear. "The medical treatments take their toll. I am going to get through this. We do. This will pass."

"And to moms and dads who watch their kids sick on things we take to get better... I hold you," she continued. "So glad this is me and not my child. I cannot imagine ever feeling ok again. #roughday. We get through. #realitycheck."

Blair was diagnosed with MS in August, revealing the news to her followers in October of 2018. The After star explained at the time that she decided to announce her diagnosis after a wardrobe fitting she had and finding it difficult to get dressed.

Later in an interview with Vanity Fair, Blair expressed her wish to make an accessible clothing line for people who suffer from similar struggles.

"I would like to partner with someone like Christian Siriano on a line for everyone, not just people who necessarily need adaptive clothing, but for those who want comfort, too," she told the outlet, after calling getting dressed "a s**t show."

"It can still be chic," she added of accessible clothing options. "You shouldn’t have to sacrifice style."

Siriano, meanwhile, is up for collaborating with his longtime pal, telling ET last month that he hopes that they "can figure out something. She really wants to do something. We have to wait until she gets a little better and we can actually, really talk about it."

Since revealing her diagnosis, Blair has been open about her MS and the difficulties that come with it, including doing her makeup and feeling fatigued.
