SZA's Dramatic 'Kill Bill' GRAMMYs Performance Thrills Phoebe Bridgers

Bridgers' mouth was wide open when one of SZA's dancers put on a show on the singer's table.

SZA's "Kill Bill" had an effect on Phoebe Bridgers at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards.

The supergroup boygenius singer was minding her own business Sunday at Crypto.Com Arena in downtown Los Angeles enjoying SZA's performance when, out of nowhere, one of SZA's dancers, who rocked matching Akira Mate Black Ruched Boots with the singer, jumped on her table, pulled out a sword and put on one helluva show.

Bridgers, wearing an off-white Thom Browne suit, stared up at the dancer with her mouth wide open and enjoyed the close-up look. Fans on social media noticed as Bridgers couldn't help but flash a huge smile and shake her head in awe of the ninja-like performance.

She wasn't the only one in awe of it all, but it was easy to notice her reaction with Bridgers sharing the dancer's spotlight. The indie supergroup is nominated for six GRAMMY Awards. The musical trio spoke to ET back in December and shared how they reacted when they first learned about their multiple nominations.

"Screaming," Bridgers said with a laugh.

"I was screaming all day," Lucy Dacus agreed. "It felt like slow motion. It actually reminded me of when I was in a car crash -- but in, like, a cool, good way."

The 2024 GRAMMY Awards is on Sunday, Feb. 4, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET and being broadcast and streamed live on CBS and Paramount+ from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Follow along at ETonline.com for full coverage from music's biggest night, including performances, GRAMMY winners and more.
