Mirrorball Dreams Shattered for Wendy Williams & Tony Dovolani

The music pounded and hearts thumped as "Dancing With the Stars" host Tom Bergeron narrowed the elimination field down to two couples on Tuesday night.

The viewers concurred with the judges after Monday's performance show, sending low scorer Wendy Williams and her partner Tony Dovolani home. Even without rehearsals in her schedule, Wendy has plenty to keep her busy, juggling a family and her talk show.

Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke were left lingering until the very end, but made it through to next week. Maksim Chmerkovskiy'sslip in his and Kirstie Alley's rumba didn't jeopardize their chances at the title. They too sailed through to the next round of competition.

"Dancing With the Stars" returns Monday night on ABC with a whole new slew of booty shaking routines and twinkly costumes.
