Backing up a bit, the Thrones finale essentially confirmed what fans of the show have long theorized -- that Snow (played by Kit Harington), long believed to be the love child of Ned Stark and an unknown mistress, is actually the daughter of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.
