Siri Loves 'Game of Thrones' and May Spoil the Big Jon Snow Reveal in the Season Finale if You Ask Her To
By Alex Ungerman
Jon Snow may know nothing, but Siri has a pretty good idea.
***WARNING: Game of Thrones season six finale spoilers beyond this point!***
Apple's voice assist software is apparently a pretty big Game of Thrones fan! Following the epic season six finale, the HBO series tweeted out Siri's cryptically knowing response to the question of who Snow's parents really are, saying, "Let's just say, there's some fire in this Snow."
Backing up a bit, the Thrones finale essentially confirmed what fans of the show have long theorized -- that Snow (played by Kit Harington), long believed to be the love child of Ned Stark and an unknown mistress, is actually the daughter of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.
This reveal opens up a whole Pandora's box of implications for the King of the North that we won't get into right now, but basically, the very oversimplified version is this: Stark = Ice, Targaryen = Fire, and the novel series on which the show is based is called Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire aka the aforementioned resurrected badass Jon Snow.
Meanwhile, even though the Jon Snow lineage revelation is what we've all wanted for basically forever, that was not even close to the most bonkers thing that happened when the episode aired on Sunday night.
