'Homeland' Season 6 Trailer Drops: See Carrie in New York City

The first trailer for Homeland's sixth season was released on Friday, and offers a new look at our favorite former CIA operative battling threats in New York City.
The trailer is mostly quiet, showing ambiguous shots of the season's action accompanied by a foreboding version of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" -- save for a few ominous words.
"I don't think you understand how vulnerable you are," F. Murray Abraham's Dar Adal tells Carrie (Claire Danes).
"I don't think you do!" a confident Carrie shoots back.

Homeland's sixth season will take place between Election Day in November and the presidential inauguration in January -- a few months after Carrie thwarted a terrorist attack in Berlin -- and focuses on her life in Brooklyn, where she works for a foundation providing aid to Muslims living in the United States.
According to the Showtime description, "It’s a strange, transitional time in the halls of government filled with anxiety and different competing interests, where a very fragile and complex transfer of power takes place between the outgoing president and the incoming president-elect."
Homeland, which has already been renewed for a seventh and eighth season, returns Sunday, Jan. 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
