Playing An Inside Look at Oprah's Favorite Things for 2014

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Cue the sleigh bells and pandemonium-- Oprah has revealed the list of her favorite things for 2014.

People used to plot and plan to be a part of the studio audience for Oprah's "Favorite Things" show. The holy grail of shows, she gave away things like refrigerators, cruises, even Volkswagen Beetles one year.

While the studio audiences are long gone now (her show ended in 2011), "Favorite Things" lives on in O: The Oprah Magazine. ET's Nischelle Turner got a preview of this year's items from O's Editor-at-Large Gayle King.

"'Favorite Things' was everybody's favorite show," Oprah herself recalls. "It was the hottest ticket in television, and now I think it's the hottest ticket in the magazine."

This year's list includes 72 of Lady O's favorite gifts to give and receive this year, including Golden Beats by Dr. Dre set ($700), her favorite glasses from Warby Parker ($95 to $395 each), Nate Berkus dessert plate set ($20), the latest Ugg slipper ($120 per pair), and the faux fur coat she wears on the December cover of the magazine ($499).

For many businesses, a spot on this elite list can be extremely lucrative.

"Everybody who makes the list knows it is a possible game-changer for their business," Gayle explains. "Everybody knows that. That is also part of the fun."

Galaxy desserts saw a 1000% growth since appearing on the list four times since 2002. MarieBelle increased chocolate sales from $1 million to $5 million after the media mogul selected their product for her 2002 "Favorite Things" episode. The Oprah Winfrey Show may have ended but the daytime queen’s impact on products endures.
