A Teenage Girl Gets an Ominous Warning From a Harbinger of Doom in 'I Kill Giants' Clip (Exclusive)

ET has a first look at the acclaimed graphic novel about magical giants brought to life, starring Zoe Saldana and Imogen Poots.

Writer Joe Kelly has helped create characters for such varied comics as Big Hero 6 and Deadpool, and his bespectacled, bunny-eared protagonist of I Kill Giants is a nice mix of those two: a teenage heroine who hunts down and kills evil giants.

Kelly adapted the acclaimed graphic novel he wrote with Ken Niimura for director Anders Walter's feature debut, with Madison Wolfe (The Conjuring 2) starring as Barbara Thorson, our young recluse who escapes her worldly troubles by partaking in the titular killing of giants. The film co-stars Imogen Poots (That Awkward Moment) as Barbara's older sister and Zoe Saldana as her school counselor.

In this exclusive clip, Barbara is taunted by a skull-faced Harbinger of doom in the woods. "What good will you be against real monsters, even a dimwitted forest giant has baffled you twice?" the Harbinger bellows. "Just a child. So weak. Sooooo weak."
