Amy Schumer shines!
The 36-year-old actress made her Broadway debut in Steve Martin's new comedy, Meteor Shower, at the Booth Theatre in New York City on Wednesday night.
Schumer stunned in a sleeveless powder blue Akris sequin silk dress on the red carpet. The comedian donned a fresh face with dark eyeliner and her blonde locks were in tousled waves.
Meteor Shower is set on a hot night in Ojai, California, and tells the story of two couples who are having dinner together and find themselves in a marital free fall matched in velocity and peril only by the smoldering space rocks tearing through the sky. Keegan-Michael Key, Laura Benanti and Jeremy Shamos co-star.
On Thursday, Schumer took to Instagram to thank everyone who came out and supported the production.
"@meteorshowerbwy opened last night and we had the best time. I love @jeremyshamos @laurabenanti @keeganmic thanks Jerry and steve and the crew and stage managers and everyone who came!" she wrote alongside a slideshow of images from the night before.
She also shared pictures with Martin, Goldie Hawn and Martin Short, among others.
"I don’t know why they gave me 2 bouquets and @laurabenanti none. Broadway’s nuts shot by @carolinemarie19," Schumer captioned a photo of her onstage with her co-stars.
